Session Overview:
Functional Independence Measure (FIM) is the outcome measure used in Rehabilitation to determine the functional outcomes of our patients. It’s imperative that we, as nurses, document our care accurately in order to not only show the excellent work we do but to also show how our patients are progressing through their programs. Sarah will do a revision on FIM principles and show how FIM is related to funding, including Impairment Codes, and the AN-SNAP and NWAU calculators, as well as some publicly-available AROC resources.
