Session Overview:
This session explores the dual roles of rehabilitation nursing—surveillance and rehabilitation therapy—and the challenges nurses face when transitioning from acute, community, aged care settings or new to nursing. Drawing on my own experience, the webinar aims to start an open conversation that empowers new rehabilitation nurses to reflect on the strengths they already bring into the profession as building blocks. Through this reflective lens, we will explore how my critical thinking and core rehabilitation competencies have developed over time making a meaningful impact in a field often dominated by medical and allied health professionals.
